JVC's KD-AHD59 CD receiver includes a built-in HD Radio™ tuner that lets you take advantage of free HD Radio broadcasts, which offer some intriguing upgrades from traditional radio. HD Radio stations pump up the sound quality — FM stations sound almost like a CD, while AM stations improve to near-traditional FM quality. Most stations send out text info, which you'll see on the receiver's display; many stations also send out an additional program stream which you can access with the tuner.
Built-in iPod® controls
JVC builds iPod control right into the USB slot — no adapter required. Just connect your iPod using the cable it came with, and you'll be using the receiver's controls to browse your tunes and playlists in no time. JVC's 2-Way Control lets your passengers use the iPod itself to control your music while it's connected to the radio — and you'll still see song info on the display.
iTunes™ tagging

Want to expand your system?
Gold-plated, 5-volt preamp outputs send a strong, clean signal to your amps and subs. Add JVC's Bluetooth® adapter to make safer, hands-free calls with your compatible phone. When a call comes in, the receiver mutes your music so you can talk to the caller over your vehicle's speakers. You can also add a satellite radio tuner and tap into the endless variety of entertainment.
