The SPL Champion TS-W5102SPL 12" subwoofer handles an astounding 2,500 watts RMS for earth-shaking bass. The dual 2-ohm voice coils allow you to set up a truly high-powered system with a compatible low-impedance amp.
Pioneer reinforces the injection-molded polypropylene cone with long carbon fibers, so it won't buckle when you push your music to the max. The lightweight cone also provides stop-on-a-dime performance across the entire bass spectrum, so you enjoy ultra-tight accuracy. The rubber radial surround gets additional backing from Aramid fiber, the same stuff you'll find in bulletproof vests, so it can promote extra-long excursion without breaking down over time.
The King of Bass
Pioneer Premier adds other features to ensure that your reign as Bass King is long and prosperous. The lightweight dustcap features foamed acrylic polymer, carbon fiber, and glass-cloth construction that reinforces the cone so the sub runs smoothly through all your bass battles. The pure titanium voice coil former helps this sub to handle a ridiculous amount of power, while the ceramic coating on the voice coil wire shrugs off heat for reliable, long-term performance.

You need a big magnet to handle this kind of power. The TS-W5102SPL features a triple-stacked, 320-ounce assembly along with extra-large top and back plates that give the motor structure room to do its thing. Channels in the top and back plates reduce mechanical and air pressure resistance to permit longer excursion and higher efficiency. And the basket? One-piece cast aluminum with superior rigidity and internal damping for gloriously clean bass output.
Important note: Pioneer recommends supplying this subwoofer with a power level as close to the RMS power rating as possible.
