Text-to-speech voice prompts say actual street names at turns, so you can concentrate on the road instead of the navigator. You also get 3-D graphics for important buildings and landmarks in many areas, as well as highway lane guidance to make sure you don't miss upcoming turns. The Maestro 4700 saves you time and gas when running errands by finding the shortest route among several stopping points on the same trip.

Magellan's OneTouch menu displays your favorite routes, searches, and applications on its home screen, saving you from scrolling through several menus. It also makes it easier than ever to locate gas stations, coffee shops, and other stopping points. As you travel, the Maestro even offers speed limit warnings that remind you not to drive too fast.

The Maestro also features AAA TourBook® travel information, which provides listings for top-rated accommodations and restaurants, as well as auto repair facilities and campgrounds approved by the leading travel resource. You can upgrade the Maestro 4700 with an optional FM-TMC traffic-info receiver which keeps you updated on congestion in most metropolitan areas.
