KVT-614 DVD receiver
Dress up your vehicle's single-sized dash opening with the slick-looking Kenwood Excelon KVT-614 DVD receiver. Just touch the motorized, retractable 7" screen to change sources, control your iPod® or iPhone®, or play a DVD. Variable illumination lets you match the receiver's display color to your dashboard lights. Watch your favorite DVDs on the built-in screen whenever you're parked, or install a screen and wireless headphones in the back so your passengers can watch movies while you drive.
Connect your iPod or iPhone to the USB slot with Kenwood's optional cable for a direct connection that gives you great sound and lets you control the tunes using the touchscreen. An updated menu lets you navigate your playlists and albums with ease, and you'll see your album cover art on the big screen. With an optional adapter, you can even view videos stored on your iPod while you're parked. Kenwood's premium 24-bit digital-to-analog converter ensures all your music will sound its best, and the KVT-614 displays tag information contained in your files, easy to see at a glance.
KNA-G510 navigation module
Install the small, hideaway box and you'll gain control over the navigation functions with your KVT-614's touchscreen controls. To choose a destination, just enter a specific street address or intersection, or choose one of the five million points of interest, like hotels, restaurants, and much more. You'll see the preloaded road maps of the U.S. and Canada on your DVD player's video screen, as they show you where you are and where you're going. Voice prompts delivered over your car speakers also help out, telling you whenever a turn is coming up.
You can customize your route options, in case there are roads you'd like to avoid, and enter intermediate points of interest that you'd like to visit along the way. If you miss a turn, the system will recalculate your route quickly. A trip computer gives you handy data about your average speed, distance traveled, and more.
